Migration Tasmania has released an important update for the Skilled Migration State Nomination Program for the 2025–26 program year.

All Registrations of Interest (ROIs) for Tasmania skilled migration pathways will close at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, 3 June 2026.

This includes all nomination pathways and visa subclasses under the program. The closure has been announced due to very strong demand for state nomination places.

The last invitation round for the 2025–26 program year will be held on:

After this round, no further invitations will be issued for the current program year.
